don't fight the feelin'

without exaggeration i get a headache about once a year, and today is the day and it's a pretty bad one. it's all rainy and gloomy outside and i got on my christmas lights inside to cheer me up. wonder what's going on... i like very much reading eastern philosophy. i could take the time to contemplate and philosphize about why do i have a headache, why the rainfall which i normally love seems gloomy today, and why i've reached for the soothing glow of soft white christmas lights...

but naaah. i won't fight the feeling this time. i'll just let it be. i'll just be...

Oh...poor you..
I really sympathize. my sister has very strong headaches as well.

hope you'll feel better very soon
and never mind the rain..
the soft lights should comfort you

You know, I used to suffer from spasmophilia (panic attacks)and I once met a doctor who asked me : "do you know anything about karaté?". Of course, I didn't. He then explained to me, sometimes in karaté when you receive a blow, the best way is not to fight the pain but rather knowing how to accompany it. And I must say, it changed my behavior towards anxiety. Actually I totally stopped having panic attacks once I moved to Spain!

All the best to you dear...and take it easy !!!

ps: the white chandelier is one a pair and I bought it at my friend's Gym antique shop, here in the valley. I'll soon post about her shop hopefully.

I know its little consolation; but if you only get one headache a year; I would say you are pretty lucky. Nevertheless, I hope by the time you read this comment, your headache has passed...

Headaches are a feeling worth fighting. My cure is Coca-cola and two Excedrins. I hope you feel better very soon.

Courage my friend! I actually have headaches regularly. You sort of get used to them if they're not too strong. Just keep it low key for a while. In a way, sometimes our bodies force us to slow down, whether we like it or not. I usually don't;)
