bliss

feeling a bit sentimental today. i'm over the moon about yesterdays election, joy and hope are my companions today. thanks so much for your good thoughts. enjoy this wonderful moment...

and too i marvel about the leaves that fell in the courtyard as i had tea and scones with malena today. stopped in at la maison francaise in greenwich village to get a program of their upcoming events, lots of philosophical goodies coming up. christmas is coming with all its glowy warm cosy lights... and cosy thoughts of persons we love.

just enjoying the moment as i hope you are too... if you pop in, do tell what cosy things you are thinking of these days...

bisous!

I hope the bliss is more long lasting than today. I feel so hopeful and excited about this.

Today I am blissing over President elect Obama, the oatmeal I just ate, the smell of Moroccan oil and shopping for puppies on Petfinder, oh, and the lovely photo featured in your post.

Hoping your bliss is long lasting....

I too believe that change will happen. I think Barack Obama is a brilliant man, and I am feeling hopeful.

I love reading your blog. Because I have never been to NYC, I love reading your descriptions of your activities there. I also like it that you know how to enjoy the simple moments in life. I love tea and scones , they make me so happy.Today I drove to Whole Foods which is about 30 minutes from my house and I really enjoyed the beautful leaf colors, as the leaves are at peak color right now. Thanks for writing your great blog

I'm positively on top of the world and nothing but nothing can alter that state - at long last, the world can say ADIEU to Bush and his cronies..!

We are soo full of hope - quite apart from any racial/cultural considerations; Obama is so forward thinking, young, bright and seems so ready and willing to collaborate with world leaders whilst surrounding himself with an experienced, competent team...

I could go on for hours..!
I won't bore you all though, I'll just conclude "the best candidate got hthe job" - simple as that..:)

Oxford has been too damp for much marvelling, but I will say that looking out the window of Duke Humphrey's library in the Bodleian today, all you could see were the leaves on the trees outside in all their gorgeous colours and squirrels running about. It was lovely and made me feel very romantic and studious at the same time in a slightly Dorothy Sayers-ish way. But without, you know, the murders and general bloodshed.

Huzzah for Obama!

What a lovely blog!
My bliss is the wind coming through my window and my new president to be. America feels like home to me once more, after eight long and shameful years. Happy, blissful day.

Y me alegro tanto. Soñemos que es el comienzo de algo diferente aunque la realidad nos vuelva a dar en las narices una vez más... Besos!

I had a huge doze of cozy and snug things over the weekend having my mom over for a visit, and also talking to my dad in Finland on the phone, since it was Father's Day over there. For the first time in my life, in a text message, later on the day, he said something very touching to me. With these on my mind, I can go on for a while. They are like cashmere to the soul - warm, soft and comforting - even for "a big girl". Hoping that your weekend Audrey, was pleasant as well.
