waiting for midnight

deep into the darkness peering, long i stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before. ~edgar allan poe

I hope to, although quiet is, I hope, the operative word. Your image here is so dreamy and ethereal, these two look like wood nymphs. The forests are alive with unseen creatures at this time of year, methinks...

Lavinia, methinks too! these dreamy creatures are the cutest...

hope you do get your nice quiet weekend (by the fire?)...

Have a good weekend too, my dear Audrey! The picture makes me think of morning misty forests somewhere in profound Finland. Maybe I'm one of the fairies... A huge and warm Halloween Hug!

So magical and poetic !

wish you a great week - and of course i'm thinking of US especially today...

Audrey, i sent you an email yesterday
saying some cards were leaving your way (yes at last!) and was just wondering if you got it. It seems i have some problems at the moment with getting/sending emails. Could you just confirm it to me if you get it ? thanks !

Susu, indeed you are a fairy, a most beautiful one!

i hope to return to finland and get lost in the lucious woods, such beauty and calm there...

hugs to you as well my friend.

Julianne, isn't this a gorgeous picture. as la belette has shared it really is romantic in a spooky kind of way...

Lala, thanks soooo much for thinking of us today. so many of us feel so desparate for things to change. among many new things, i'm hoping for respect and diplomacy for all at home and abroad...
