Once as an eleven-year old girl, I borrowed a library book, Enid Blython's children's thrillers probably. I fell in love with the story... and majorly with the book itself. It smelled such sweet peaches. I'd read a page, then soak up in the beautiful, light hint of an odor, wonder where it got its starts from, then go on indulging in the tale.
How sweet to see you writing your way out again... go on dear! Your path is utterly precious and delectable!
I was thinking about books in the shower last night. I have to have books, even for school, I'm just not a Kindle girl. The concept is great, and I'm all for those who love them, but I have to savor the book itself. Books have always been a part of my life, they have been best friends, travel companions (from my living room!), they are so wonderful.

Missed you, sweet friend.

Truer words were never spoken. Long live the paper and hardback book!
