Here in Finland Christmas endures for three days. Today is the Boxing Day and calm and peace still reign for another day. Snow keeps falling... in the light blue and white scenery. My dad´s playing the piano like back in the times. A moment to pause. Time to remeber and to plan new. Time to be at home and then time to go back to sweet today.
Thinking of you and wondering what you will be up to in the City today... Hugs!
so sweet of you to pop in on me during your holidays in gorgeous Finland. thanks so much for the pretty images you share... snow falling, quiet and peace reign, and the piano is my favorite musical instrument. continued warm cosy holidays to you!
having a nice cup of tea and thinking what to wear as i'm to meet a friend for lunch in about an hour (he's a classical pianist;)
and too, which film to see after lunch... nine (daniel day lewis) sherlock holmes (jude law) or a sweet Christmas one with robert de niro...
hi Angie, hope you had a beautiful Christmas!! lunch was quite special, we had a rain storm here so i arrived at the restaurant wet. we cosied into a corner by the floor to ceiling windows and sipped tea by candlelight since the day was dark and grey. we talked and laughed and ate deliciously. after some time we ventured out into the rain again to see the film 'an education.' i had seen it already but wanted to see it again as it is soooo good.
Angie, you are quite wonderful! have a lovely last week of the year. so nice to have 'met' you this year.
Thank you, Audrey! You are truly wonderful yourself, and I am so very pleased we have connected. Although we've never met, our minds and souls clicked and so, I count you as a dear friend. Hugs!!!
Me recuerda a aquel día en NY. ¿Te acuerdas? Quizá este blog le debe una a aquella lluvia (aunque creo que el blog hubiera nacido igual). Gracias por tu regalo de Navidad. Un beso enorme para tí es el mío. Muacccc
hey Angie, luckily and definitely we have connected and i am ever gratefull!!
Nuria, you get me to remember that exact moment, us walking in the rain, seeking out 'grub.' it always feels good to be with you. and you are absolutely right, it was there in those moments, rainfall, good italian food, your gorgeous presence that we conceived the idea of this blog. how incredibly sweet! thank you for your gift of friendship...
and life keeps getting sweeter, right? ...some time later Ulises comes. beautiful!
Hey beautiful! Your message is precious for me! Oh, how many great moments with you in NY!!!! My memories of NY are strongly tied to you. I miss you girl! Muacccc
